Grades 9-11. 12/PG Boys and Girls.
This session is for Weymouth Soccer Club travel players only that have been assigned to a travel team in the Gr3/4, Gr5/6, Gr7/8 age groups.
Players will have to order their own uniforms through WeGotSoccer. That information and link will be sent as soon as the registration is complete with deposit.
This season is for Spring 2021
Please read and understand our COVID modifications & guidelines that may need to be adhered to for the Spring 2020 Season. Also understand as we approach the start of the season, these modifications and guidelines may change.
All players must wear masks both when they are in the game and when they are on the sidelines. This includes coming to the filed, leaving the field.
Only a single spectator per player will be allowed at the field. All spectators/coaches/volunteers will be required to wear a mask while at the field. No spectators will be allowed on the turf or the walking track that surrounds the field.
All spectators will need to remain socially distant and watch from the grass area that surrounds the walking track.
If the season must be stopped or is cancelled after the 2nd week of the season due to adjusted COVID-19 guidelines, no refunds or credits will be provided. Any cancellation before the 3rd week of the season will result in 50% account credit that can be used for future WYS activities.
Because we must play fewer games during each hour and introduce 30 min between the end of one game and the start of another, games for the season may start as early as 8am or as late as 4pm. Your child may be scheduled to play soccer games every other week and have 2 games scheduled for the week they play. These games will be against the same team.
There may not be any coordinated/reserved field (turf) time for practice. IF no turf time is reserved, for all age groups, each coach will need to determine the best time and place to hold practice.
Each team will require an assigned COVID-19 Coordinator. This role is to assist the Coach in ensuring that the team is compliant with Massachusetts Youth Soccer’s Return to Soccer Activity Guidelines during practice sessions and games.
